Falooda Drink is a cold dessert popular in the Indian subcontinent. It is developed on the Persian dish faloodeh which has several variations throughout West, Central and South Asia. In traditionally, the faloodah is made by mixing rose syrup, vermicelli, psyllium (ispaghol), tapioca pearls, sweet basil seeds (sabza/takmaria) and pieces of gelatin with milk or water, often served with ice cream. Vermicelli used for preparing falooda is made from wheat, arrowroot, cornstarch or sago.
